This year, I’ve once again had the privilege of photographing a rich variety of performances, walks, and events across the Swaledale Festival — from intimate chamber music in historic churches to brass bands in the hills, poetry walks through meadows, and groundbreaking contemporary compositions. My aim has been to capture not only the artistry of the performers but also the character and atmosphere of the festival itself, rooted deeply in the landscapes and communities of the Dales. The images reflect the spirit of celebration, creativity, and connection that defines Swaledale Festival, and it’s been a joy to document the energy, emotion and beauty of it all through my lens.
