Christmas & New Year Opening Hours
As the year draws to a close and Swaledale settles into its winter rhythm, we’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has visited the gallery, supported our work, bought prints, stopped for a chat, or simply popped in to have a look. Your support throughout the year genuinely means a great deal and helps keep the gallery doors open in this special corner of the dale.
We know many people like to plan visits over the festive period, whether it’s a quiet wander between Christmas and New Year or a purposeful trip to find a final gift, so here are our Christmas and New Year opening hours.
Festive Opening Hours
Thursday 1st January – Closed

Saturday 3rd January – 10am to 4pm
Sunday 4th January – 11am to 4pm

Sunday 4th January – 11am to 4pm
From Monday 5th January, the gallery will move to winter opening hours and will be closed on
Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
We will be open:
Thursday to Sunday – 11am to 4pm
